Welcome to the club, embrance the future of fitness. Pure Hybrid is essentially a Strength & Conditioning program science based which goal is to develop, or enhance, your fitness foundation skills. What define your level of fitness? How in shape are you? How well can you perform in your sport? The answer is defined in by how strong you are and by how develop is your conditioning (your aerobic system, your “cardio”). The more these two “skills” are developed the more fit you are. It is the intersection between strength and conditioning which matters. 

 

You are not fit if you can squat 200kg but not able to run 10km. You are not fit if you run the 10k in 40' but can’t bench your bodyweight. Specifically performant is not healthy. Just strength makes your heart “sick” and will more likely to lead people towards cardiovascular disease. Just cardio won’t develop bone density and doesn’t prevent sarcopenia in elderly age. We want to be healthy. We want to look good. We want live longer. We want perform well. We chase the overall fitness. Being able to run or bike for long distance, lift heavy, move our body like gymnast, look like a greek statue and prevent disease. It is the intersection between strength and conditioning which matters.  What science says about how to achieve these fitness goals and so making this intersection bigger. The answer  is simple, no secrets. Train both of them in a polarized way which means focusing on one single aspects whitout useless mixes. Why? because it’s the MOST EFFECTIVE way to do it, and EFFICIENCY is the keyword which this program is bases on. So we develop these routines based on what science said is the healthiest, most efficient and best for performance way to split the workout during the day and during the week.

Stregth days will be alternated with conditioning days in order to minimize the negative transfer between them. Strength days requires gym equipment and will include functional movement to make to move well, power movements, plyometrics, core and strength and hypertrophy both for upper and lower body. It requires gym equipment and knowing your 1 rep max of the major exercise will be a huge advantage. on the other hand conditioning days will include your zone 2 training slow and steady for improvig your aerobic capacity and efficiency which has enormous benefits, and intervals in order to enhance aerobic power. It doesn’t require any equipment since you can choose you kind of conditioning, You can run, bike, swim, climb, trail run or use any ergometer in the gym. This program is designed for everybody, from the beginner with no experience to expert athletes. Every exercise is described with a video through and app which will provide you all the infos and where you can log your results in order to track them.
